8 detained including Rohingya at Moulvibazar border while being deported from India
BGB has detained eight people, including four Rohingyas, while they were being pushed back from India through the border area of Baralekha upazila in Moulvibazar. According to BGB sources, a BGB patrol team detained eight people from Batamoral Punji in Baralekha upazila between 7 am and 12 noon on Friday. Among them are two Bangladeshi women and two men. On the other hand, the four Rohingyas include a man, a woman and two children. They were detained while being pushed back illegally from India to Bangladesh.
